Privacy Policy

This site is small and run by one person. This policy tries to say exactly what happens to your data in plain language, not the padded version. If anything here is unclear, email me — contact details are at the bottom.

Who this is

rkarthik.in is operated by Karthik Ramachandiran, trading as Rkarthik AI Labs, based in Tamil Nadu, India. For the purposes of this policy, "I," "me," and "this site" all mean the same thing.

What I collect

Two sources of data, and nothing beyond them:

• The access-check form (on the access-check page): name, email address, domain, a budget range, and anything you write in the optional problem-description field.
• Analytics, via PostHog: pages viewed, how you leave a page, scroll depth, approximate location and device type inferred from your IP and browser — the same kind of data most websites collect to understand traffic. Analytics requests are routed through rkarthik.in itself (a first-party proxy) rather than sent directly to a third-party domain.

I don't run ad pixels, retargeting tags, or sell or share data with data brokers. There's nothing else being collected beyond the two sources above.

How I use it

Form submissions are used for exactly one thing: replying to you about the AI access check you requested. Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and which aren't, and to see whether specific calls-to-action (like the AI-access-check form) are actually working.

Who else sees it

Two processors handle data on my behalf, and neither uses it for their own purposes:

• Resend — delivers the email notification when you submit the access-check form. See Resend's privacy policy.
• PostHog — processes analytics events. See PostHog's privacy policy.

Cloudflare, which hosts this site, also processes standard server logs (IP address, request metadata) as part of running any website on the internet.

Cookies & local storage

PostHog sets a cookie and/or uses browser local storage to recognize repeat visits and tie events to a session. There's no cookie-consent banner on this site today — if you'd prefer not to be tracked, most browsers let you block third-party analytics scripts, or you can use PostHog's own opt-out if you know your way around browser dev tools. I'm not currently running anything that requires consent under EU law, since this site isn't targeted at EU visitors, but the same disclosure applies regardless of where you're visiting from.

How long I keep it

Form submissions live in my email inbox for as long as normal business correspondence does — I don't have an automated deletion schedule, but I also don't retain them for any purpose beyond replying to you and basic business records. Analytics data retention follows PostHog's standard platform settings.

Your rights

Regardless of exactly which region you're in — California, the rest of the US, Canada, or Australia — you can ask me to:

• Tell you what data I hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Delete your form submission and any associated correspondence
• Stop contacting you

Email me and I'll act on it directly — there's no automated request portal, because there's no automated system large enough to need one.

Security

The site runs entirely over HTTPS. Form submissions are sent directly to my email through Resend's API — nothing is stored in a database on my end. There's no payment processing on this site, so no payment card data is ever collected here.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes — like adding a new data-sharing arrangement — will be called out clearly, not buried in a rewrite.
