Scope of Work: Program Retainer (Stages 1–5, Ongoing)

This SOW covers the ongoing engagement where a prior Baseline Diagnostic's ranked fix list turns into shipped work: implementation across Stages 1-3, active earned-media placement under Stage 4, and tracking under Stage 5, folded into the base fee, not sold separately.

Governing Agreement: Where the Client has executed a Master Service Agreement ("MSA") with the Consultant, this SOW is issued under and subject to that Agreement, and the MSA's terms (including its limitation of liability, intellectual property, confidentiality, and indemnification provisions) govern this engagement. Where no separate MSA has been executed, this SOW and the Consultant's published Terms of Service together constitute the complete agreement between the parties for this engagement.

1. Service Description

The Consultant will implement the fixes identified and ranked by a prior Baseline Diagnostic, in the priority order that Diagnostic set, and will actively pursue earned-media placement under Stage 4. Ongoing tracking under Stage 5 (mention rate and shortlist rate against named competitors) is included in the base fee for the duration of this engagement, not billed as a separate add-on.

2. What This Includes

Stages 1–3 — Fix Implementation

Specific fixes executed against the Client's own Diagnostic memo, prioritized in the order that memo set. Representative examples of the kind of work this covers (the Client's actual fix list may differ):

• Resolve any access, rendering, or indexation issues flagged in the Diagnostic
• Resolve flagged entity inconsistencies across the Client's site and third-party profiles (Wikidata, G2, Capterra, Crunchbase, LinkedIn)
• Restructure flagged priority pages for extractability: direct answers, self-contained sections, original data, and properly structured comparison tables
• Re-test AI extraction and entity resolution after each meaningful change to confirm it actually moved

Stage 4 — Earned-Media Placement

Basic

• Set up a systematic review-request process triggered right after purchase or onboarding
• Identify existing "best of" and "top tools" articles in the Client's category and pursue inclusion in them
• Build a target list of journalists and publications that actually cover the Client's category
• Identify relevant Reddit communities and participate genuinely over time, not promotionally
• Identify YouTube creators who review the Client's category and pursue genuine coverage with them

Intermediate & advanced

• Time review-request campaigns around real product milestones. A genuine review burst correlates with a citation lift within days, per published research
• Pursue guest bylines, podcast appearances, and fair "vs competitor" comparison content on third-party sites
• Run a continuous outreach cadence sized to the retainer's real capacity, not sporadic one-off campaigns
• Track which type of earned media actually moves the needle for the Client's specific brand, and reallocate effort toward what's working

Stage 5 — Tracking (Included, Not Billed Separately)

• Run the Client's standing set of buying-stage prompts on a fixed monthly cadence across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude
• Track mention rate and shortlist rate against named competitors, month over month
• Flag every factual error found about the Client (stale pricing, wrong category, outdated product names) for correction at the source
• Deliver a monthly exec note: what shipped, what moved, what's next, written for the same audience the Diagnostic memo was written for

3. Deliverables & Cadence

Monthly: Fixes shipped against the Diagnostic's prioritized list, active earned-media placement work, and one exec note covering what shipped, what moved, and what's next.

4. Prerequisites and Dependencies

The Client acknowledges that this Program Retainer requires the prior, successful delivery of a Baseline Diagnostic, whose findings this engagement executes against. Because entity-consistency and earned-media work compound over one to two quarters before results show consistently, this SOW carries a minimum commitment period.

5. Exit Clause

The Consultant makes no guarantee regarding future AI-model rankings or recommendations. No party controls what a given model returns. What is guaranteed is delivery: if the Stage 1-2 fixes identified in the Client's Diagnostic are not shipped by day 90 of this engagement, the Client may exit this Retainer without penalty. This clause is tied to delivery of the work, not to any model-output result.

6. Compensation and Routing

Retainer Fee: $6,000 USD per month.

Term: Minimum six (6) month engagement, subject to the Exit Clause above.

Credit: If this Retainer begins within 30 days of the Client's Baseline Diagnostic delivery, 50% of that Diagnostic's fee is credited toward this Retainer's first month.

Invoicing: Invoices will be issued on the 1st of every month, payable net-15.

Payment Routing: International clients pay via PayPal; clients based in India can pay via UPI or bank transfer. Payment details will be provided on the invoice.
